Healthy Green Smoothie Recipe! | Tanya Burr

Hey guys! I'm so excited to share this yummy and healthy smoothie recipe with you. It's made with a mix of veggies and fruit so isn't super sweet, if you want yours to be sweeter you could add a natural sweetener. I love the healthy fresh taste of it just the way it is 🙂 Have fun making this at home and don't forget to send me pics of your creations using #GoingGreenWithTanya

TO MAKE 2 SMOOTHIES YOU WILL NEED:

a blender, here's a link to my one:
1 banana
2 handfuls of spinach
1 stick of celery
small amount of ginger
about a quarter of a cucumber
a handful of chopped up pineapple
some coconut water (how much you put in is up to you – just keep adding it until you like the consistency of your smoothie! I like mine quite thick and Jim likes his less thick so I add more coconut water to his usually).
some ice to make it nice and cold!

+Tanya Burr An easier way to peel ginger is to use a spoon…just scrape
down the sides with the spoon…easy peasy. Saves potential finger loss
      from sharp knives… 😉

you can use simple green tea that’s so good substitute,…I use green tea
for morning and camomile tea for night as base to make smoothie….

lol I have the Same blender, and I know why you did skip the video until
your fruit and veggies got blend because it doesn’t work that way you must
add some water/ or anh other fluid so that is blends easier. Just sayin

Your blender wouldn’t have to work so hard if you added the liquid first.

Was just thinking the same… and coconut water would eventually penetrate
      through the vegetables down..

Don’t you think that is too much fiber? Is possible to strain the juice?

    • Pritz Angelz

      June 21, 2016 at 9:13 pm
